Award-winning Woolacombe Beach is widely recognised as one of the best and family friendly beaches in the UK.
Woolacombe is located on Devon's north coast, between Croyde and Ilfracombe. North Devon is a coastal area of southwest England, known for its dramatic cliffs, wild seas and sandy beaches at Woolacombe,
In addition to Woolacombe of smaller but equally amazing beaches nearby. These include Putsborough Sand, Grunta and Combesgate.
Three miles of golden sands stretching north towards Woolacombe and Morte Point It is one of the finest beaches in the South west. It is perfect for walkers and children due to the plentiful supply of rock pools to discover.
The sandy little cove of Grunta is situated below the cliffs in front of the village of Morthoe. A great beach that is a short walk from Woolacombe.
Barricane Beach is situated between Woolacombe and Mortehoe village. The beach is a sheltered west facing cove full of nooks and crannies with numerous rock pools
Combesgate is a great and friendly secluded beach that is well worth a visit, located approximately 600 metres north of Woolacombe beach with some attractive rock pools ideal for children to explore.
Public toilets adjacent to main car park are open all year and are well maintained.
There are a number of local car parks including Sandy Burrows car park. During higher temperature months the car parks are likely to be busier . Make sure you check the information regarding parking fees and times.
