Whitstable’s beach is a long stretch of shingle divided up by wooden groynes. It runs from just south of the town’s harbour to neighbouring Seasalter.
Whitstable is a seaside town on the north coast of Kent in Southeastern England, 5 miles north of Canterbury and 2 miles west of Herne Bay.
Other beaches worth visiting in the area is Hearne Bay Beach and Tankerton Beach.
Tankerton's distinctive grassy area makes a perfect sport for a family picnic or simply for relaxing and taking in the magnificent views.
Hearne Bay Beach is a family friendly beach with wonderful views offered by the sea. With its Victorian architecture town and two miles of sea front it is a place worth visiting.
Whitstable is well worth a visit. Enjoy Whitstable High street as it has lots of independent shops away from the beach.

While the beach is single Whitstable Beach is well worth visiting.
There has been articles of pollution being pumped into the sea, but recent local news suggests it is safe.
The Marine, Hotel Continental and The Crescent Turner Hotel are some of the popular hotels in Whitstable.
Canterbury is a cathedral city in southeast England, originally built by the Romans. Its medieval centre has cobbled streets and timber-framed houses. Canterbury Cathedral, founded 597 A.D. is the headquarters of the Church of England and Anglican Communion. There is plenty of attractions and things to do when visting Canterbury including visting West Gate Gardens and Howletts Wild Animal Park and of course books tours of the Cathedral.
Margate is a town on England’s southeast coast and is recognised for its sandy beach.
The journey time between Whitstable and Isle of Sheppey is around 1h 20m by train or bus. If driving by car you can cover the 25 miles in 45 mins via the A2.
Milford on Sea Beach is a long shingle beach with sand at the waters edge during low tide with beach huts along the beachfront.
Hayling Island has over 3 miles of beaches to travel along the seafront facing the Solent.
