Aldeburgh Suffolk England, is a friendly sand and shingle beach and is one of Suffolk’s best known beaches backed by a beautiful town that has all the facilities for a family to have a wonderful time.
The high street Aldeburgh has some excellent independent retailers along many streets within the town centre and local restaurants to cater for all ages.
Aldeburgh Yacht Club is a large and thriving Suffolk club catering for all aspects of sailing, sea and water activities.
Founded in 1884, Aldeburgh Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Suffolk
The annual Aldeburgh Festival Snape of Music and the Arts is mainly devoted to classical music and takes place each June at the Snape Maltings Concert Hall.
There are number of local hotels to stay in town if planning a holiday including the popular Wentworth hotel Aldeburgh which has a 7/10 review by the Telegraph
There are a number of car parks in Aldeburgh.
A beach near to Aldeburgh that is also worth visiting is or course Southwold beach and it’s famous pier.
The county of Suffolk is not just host to a number of beautiful beaches on the coast like Aldeburgh, but also famous market towns like Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket, the home of horse racing.
If you are love beaches and are in Suffolk it is worth also popping over to the Norfolk coast and visit beaches like Great Yarmouth, Holkham and Hunstanton Beach

Tripadvisor: Please visit both as they are very different beaches and experiences but both equally worth visiting. Choosing a best one is very hard.
With a fantastic sand and shingle beach and bustling high street Aldeburgh is well worth visiting all year round including winter and Christmas.
Although the main beach has dog restrictions during the summer months, there is a mile wide dog friendly shingle beach just North of Aldeburgh which is very well signposted and stretches from the Wentworth Hotel to Thorpeness.
