In addition to the three main beaches, Southwold in Suffolk has a lot to offer including the famous pier to excellent restaurants and retail options.
Lowestoft in the UK has three beaches; Lowestoft South Beach (also known as Claremont Pier), Corton Sands and Kessingland beach. Lowestoft town is a firm favourite among families with loads of local attractions and things to please all age groups. Attractions include two piers, amaing parks including a wildlife park and an award-winning theme park, local museums and a busy theatre which is home to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Aldeburgh Suffolk England, is a friendly sand and shingle beach and is one of Suffolk’s best known beaches backed by a beautiful town that has all the facilities for a family to have a wonderful time.
Owned by the National Trust, Dunwich Heath beach is a dog friendly suffolk beach surrounded by heath and marshes and is perfect for walking and beachcombing.
Orford Ness is a shingle beach located near Aldeburgh owned by the National Trust.
Kessingland beach is a long, and wide sandy and shingle beach backed by low cliffs.
With views of Aldeburgh to the south and Dunwich to the north, Thorpeness beach is a shingle beach backed by colour pastel villas and cottages.
