The National Trust's Studland Beach (Studland Bay), Dorset, is a vast area of sandy beaches and heathland with views of Old Harry Rocks.
Knoll beach studland forms the southern end of Studland Bay’s and benefits from four miles of white sand to walk which is backed by sand dunes. Studland knoll beach also benefits from woodland walks and good facilities including toilets, a shop and café.
Shell bay is a great beach that is perfect for sunbathing and a swim. Very clean and never overly busy with plenty of room in the sandy dunes when you want some shade.
Of the four beaches at Studland bay, Middle Beach is the quietest and smallest with a little café overlooking the sea.
South Beach is a sheltered cove with over a mile of sand (2 km) that slopes gracefully into the sea. A popular beach for families with young children as the waters of the bay near the sand are mostly shallow. The South Beach faces north and is backed by steep hills.
On your way to the stunning beaches of Studland Bay you will go through the beautiful Studland village with quaint shop and nice places to eat and drink.
There are a number of diffierent local events that happen during the year.
There are a selection of accommodation options available including hotels and self catering with loads of things to do locally to make it a holiday to remember.
There are parking charges at all the Studland beach car parks.
