Prestatyn is a coastal resort in North Wales with three beaches that join up to form a five mile stretch of sand with traiditional rock groynes.
Central beach is the main beach in Prestatyn and is very popular with visitors. You can access the beach from the car parks at Nova East and Nova West.
Located just to the east of centreal beach across the road from the Pontins resort is Barkby which is a long sandy beac.
Ffrith Beach is a sandy beach adjacent to the Wales Coast Path.
There are plenty of local facilities including a leisure centre and amusement arcades.
There are a number of Prestatyn beach hotels and Prestatyn Station hotels including the Beaches Hotel and Lyons Nant Hall Hotel.
Prestatyn is a town in Denbighshire. It is the most easterly of the holiday resorts on the north Wales coast, and very convenient for day trips from Liverpool and Manchester.
Prestatyn is on the A548 Chester to Llanrwst road. It is also just a 10mins drive from the A55
National Express operates a number of coach services to and from Prestatyn Bus Station.
Prestatyn Railway Station is situated on the Holyhead Branch of the West Coast Mainline. Direct services to and from London Euston are provided by Avanti West Coast.
Prestatyn Beach has been awarded Blue Flag status for high water quality.
