Whilst Titchwell is known for its RSBP nature reserve at Titchwell Marsh,
Titchwell Beach Norfolk also has a wonderful wide sandy beach at low tide.
Rarely busy, the beach is accessed by a public path which is the main west
bank through the nature reserve. The reserve itself is a wonderful ecosystem
brimming with wildlife.
Dogs are permitted along the West Bank path to the beach provided they are
kept on leads. This is a public right of way and the only part of Titchwell Marsh
Nature Reserve where dogs are allowed. Once on the beach there are no
restrictions, although some areas may be roped off to protect nesting birds.
The beach is a great place to relax with a picnic. It has no official facilities but
the natural beauty makes up for it.
