Hastings at low tide has an expanses of sand but most of the beach is made up of sea-smoothed pebbles.
Hastings main beach backs right onto the seafront of this established friendly seaside resort town so you are never far away from Hastings town centre facilities and various attractions for things to do.
Hastings has an eclectic array of cafes, restaurants for food and drink and attractions.
There are number of hastings hotels to stay in the area or for holidays.
There are a number of great beaches in each East Sussex including Camber Sands and Bexhill
Camber Sands is a beach in East Sussex, UK, in the village of Camber, close to Rye located within Rother District Council. It is the only sand dune system in all of East Sussex.
Bexhill has a lovely clean promenade and is great for a stroll. The beach is very pebbly but great fun for collecting shells and stones.
There are a numer of other good places worth visting including Horsham.
Horsham is a good market town on the upper reaches of the River Arun on the fringe of the Weald in West Sussex, England.

Brighton is a seaside resort and one of the two main areas of the City of Brighton and Hove. Located on the southern coast of England, in the county of East Sussex.
Eastbourne is a popular resort town for visitors on England’s southeast coast. On the seafront are Victorian hotels, the 19th-century Eastbourne Pier and a 1930s bandstand.
Tripadvisor : In addition to the many tourists who visit East Sussex beaches, the area enjoys a high number of visits from local people so expect it to be very busy during warmer months.
