Dunster beach is a wide pebble and sand beach backed by the famous Minehead and West Somerset Golf Club.
With a castle on the hill, Dunster is a lovely village full of independent boutiques and nice restaurants.
Owned by the National Trust, the Dunster castle and Watermill was used to film the 90’s Hercule Poirot espisode 'A Cornish Mystery'.
For those enjoy walking, there is the 25-mile long West Somerset Coastal Path that passes through the beach.
In addition the West Somerset Railway Line passes close by and gives visitors an opportunity to step back in time and experience the joys of travelling through the beautiful Quantock countryside on a traditional steam train.
It is also worth visiting Blue Anchor Bay which has a long sandy beach with alabaster rocks that are great for finding fossils.
