Budleigh Salterton Beach is a pebble beach located near Exmouth in Devon.
Wells Next The Sea Beach is a beautiful sandy beach located around one mile from the town which you can walk to on a long raised path with stunning views over the marshes.
Folkestone beach is located in Kent on the south coast of England.
Southend on Sea Beach benefits from seven miles of sandy beaches including three blue flag beaches and seven quality coast awards
Lowestoft Beach has three lovely beaches and a town with great attractions for the whole family.
Whitstable beach is a long stretch of shingle divided up by wooden groynes. It runs from just south of the town’s harbour to neighbouring Seasalter.
Caswell Bay is a popular family a beach on the south east coast of the Gower Peninsula, near Swansea, Wales.

Eating and going to the beach cannot be separated and that can take all forms from nice restaurants for a sit down meal to fish and chip take away or just a quaint café where you can get a hot drink and sandwich.
The sea is more than just water and waves, it is an opportunity to swim or participate in local water sports. To the best of my knowledge I will share all options available with readers so you make the most of your day out at the beach.
Some of the beaches I will be discussing have bays or are better known as fishing village. It is this amazing diversity of beaches here in England and the rest of the Britain that makes each experience unique and different from others.
There are a number of amazing beaches in England and it is very hard to put them into a formal list of “best beaches” as they are all very different and people visit them for lots of reasons whether that is for the golden sand, the clear seas or arcades and amusements nearby.
In addition to discussing the beach and surrounding food options, I will also outline toilets, parking, trains times and nearest train station for those not driving, dog walking options and interesting features at the beaches such as cliffs, sunken ships and other or interesting facts.
While this beach blog has initially focused on popular beaches in East Anglia and the South East we will gradually be covering the rest of Britain and UK including the West coast and of course both North and Southern Ireland. In time I will cover those familiar with most people including Blackpool and Bournemouth.
