Bamburgh is a beautiful coastal town (bigger than a village) in the heart of Northumberland. Thousands of people visit Bamburgh every year for its famous castle, coastlines & walking trails.

Bamburgh Castle Golf Club in Northumberland is without doubt one of the most scenic golf courses in the UK.
A short distance by car North from Bamburgh is the stunning Holy Island of Lindisfarne' which is a tidal island that can only be accessed via a metalled causeway. Tidal closure affects all methods of transport and you need to check in advance tide timings to navigate to and from the island.

In addition to Bamburgh beach there are a number of other amazing beaches to explore on the coast to visit in the Northumberland area including Alnmouth, Beadnall and Berwick-upon-Tweed.

The beach can be accessed via a short walk across the sand dunes from the car park at Bamburgh Castle itself, or from a smaller (and quieter) car park on the road towards Seahouses.
