Anglesey is an island in Wales, off the mainland's northwest coast. It's known for its stunning beaches and ancient sites. The island is accessed by the Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge.
There are number of beautiful beaches in Anglesey including Bennllech beach, Llanddwyn beach and Church Bay
While we don’t like to choose favourites we would recommend Benllech beach which has has fine golden sand and clear Blue Flag waters. At low tide the sand stretches for miles and there is a wide range of activities including swimming, building sandcastles, windsurfing, sailing and sea fishing.
Porth is a town and a community in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, within the historic county boundaries of Glamorgan, Wales.
The sandy west-facing cove of Porth Iago is one of the best to be found on the Llyn Peninsula and is a popular spot for fishing next to the rocks on the northern side of the beach.
Porth Swtan also known as Church Bay is situated on the north western side of Anglesey. The beach offers excellent water quality and is popular for swimming, sailing and fishing.
A beautiful large, sandy beach sloping to the sea. Rockpools and slipways. This beach has a protected bathing area marked by buoys. Cafes, toilet facilities (including disabled), car parks and beach warden service.
Traeth Bychan is a beach on the isle of Anglesey, Wales. The beach is between the villages of Benllech and Moelfre. At low tide the large sandy beach is part of the Anglesey Coastal path, at high tide the beach is split into two contrasting areas, a busy sandy side to the north and a quiet secluded pebble beach to the south.
Traeth Bach (small beach) is the lesser known of Cemaes’s two beaches. Tucked away on the far side of the harbour Traeth Bach is another great option for families. There is a sheltered little sandy beach with plenty of interesting rock pools.
.There is a number of fantastic places to visit around Anglesey including Newborough Forest and Beaumaris Castle.
There are number of other beaches in North Wales worth visting including Black Rock Sands, Barmouth and Abersoch
Anglesey is an island surrounded by 125 miles of stunning coastline and beaches are something that Anglesey does very well.
